Southampton, Massachusetts is located Western Massachusetts, bordered by Westhampton on the northwest, Easthampton on the northeast, Holyoke on the east, Westfield on the south, and Montgomery and Huntington on the west. Southampton is 17 miles northwest of Springfield and 100 miles west of Boston. The principal highway is State Route 10 running N-S. U.S.Routes 5 and 202 and Interstate 91 are easily accessible in Holyoke. There is no freight rail service in Southampton, but the network of intermodal facilities serving Massachusetts is easily accessible.
