South Hadley, Massachusetts is located South central Massachusetts, bordered by Hadley and Amherst on the north, Granby on the east, Chicopee on the south, and separated from Holyoke by the Connecticut River on the west. South Hadley is 12 miles north of Springfield, 30 miles south of Greenfield, 87 miles west of Boston, and 145 miles from new York City. Principal highways are State Routes 47 and U.S. Route 202, both running N-S. There is no passenger service in South Hadley, but the network of intermodal facilities serving Massachusetts is easily accessible.
