East Longmeadow, Massachusetts is located Southwestern Massachusetts, bordered by Enfield and Somers, Connecticut, on the south; Hampden on the east; Wilbraham on the northeast; Springfield on the north and northwest; and Longmeadow on the west. East Longmeadow is 5 miles south of Springfield, 88 miles southwest of Boston, and 146 miles from New York City. Principal highways are State Routes 83, 186, and 220. Passenger rail service to Boston, Hartford, New York, Montreal, and all other points on the Amtrak network is available through nearby Springfield.
