Boylston, Massachusetts is located Central eastern Massachusetts, bordered by Sterling and Clinton on the north, Berlin and Northborough on the east, Shrewsbury on the south, and West Boylston on the west. Boylston is 7 miles north of Worcester, 38 miles west of Boston, and 181 miles from New York City. Principal highways are State Routes 70 and 140. Interstate Route 290 passes just south of the town border. Passenger rail service to Boston, Providence, Springfield, and all other points on the Amtrak network is available through neighboring Worcester.
