Bedford, Massachusetts is located Northeastern Massachusetts, bordered by Billerica on the north, Burlington and Lexington on the east, Lincoln on the south, and Concord and Carlisle on the west. Bedford is 11 miles south of Lowell, 15 miles northwest of Boston, and 216 miles from New York City. Principal highways are U.S. Route 3 and State Routes 4, 62, and 225.
